Rebel Riot
Composed in collaboration with the Grade 9 Instrumental Music class at Port Perry High School in 2022/2023.

A celebration of a high school reunion: meeting old friends, reliving memories of the past, and feeling nostalgic for the youth spent between those walls...
Plus a rousing "pep rally" with the School Song just before the big game!

With melodies that reflect the nature of "celebration" and "nostalgia", this piece commemorates the 150th anniversary of Port Perry High School. The excitement of the event, coupled with a reflective look back on the past culminates in a lively performance of the school song.
Credit to Russ Baird, former PPHS music teacher, and composer of the PPHS School Song for allowing its use.
